You will recall that during Question Time you ruled out of order a supplementary question of mine to Question No. 8 to the Home Secretary, referring to his meeting the Police Federation. However, you allowed a supplementary question on the death penalty to Question No. 12 about vandalism, and a question about a visit to Liverpool on a Question on the Isle of Wight. With all due respect, I submit that the question which I asked about the activities and morale of the police force in Lancashire, which I know my right hon. Friend wishes to answer, was in order. Could I ask you as a courtesy to allow my right hon. Friend to answer that question?
