Lords amendment: No. 22, in page 6, line 34, after "authority" insert

"have become subject to a duty towards a person under any provision of this Act to which this subsection applies (whether or not they are still subject to any such duty) and".

An undertaking was given at an earlier stage that the duty to protect the property of homeless people would be looked at again in the light of points made during debate, and these amendments are the result of that.
