§ Mr. SpeakerBefore the Clerk reads the remaining Orders of the Day, I should inform the House that in the case of the remaining Lords amendments to Bills, it is permissible for me to put the Question in the case of each Bill, That this House doth agree with the Lords in their amendments—taken as a whole. If this Question were not objected to, it could be put and agreed to. However, if there is a single objection, consideration of the Lords amendments would have to be deferred.
