Amendment made: No. 146, in page 80, line 5. leave out from 'proceedings' to end of line 12 and insert— '(b) the coroner shall, after the termination of the inquest, furnish the registrar of deaths with a certificate under his hand stating the result of the relevant criminal proceedings; and (c) the provisions of paragraph (3) of section 18 of the Coroners Act 1887 and section 23(1) of the Births and Deaths Registration Act 1953 (duty of coroner to send registrar certificate containing information as to death and finding of inquest) shall not apply in relation to that inquest.'. —[Mr. John.]
