HC Deb 28 October 1976 vol 918 cc713-4
Mr. Hastings

On a point of order, Mr. Speaker. I wanted to ask your advice about Standing Order No. 100 concerning petitions. It happens that I have a petition, duly signed, protesting against the decision of the Government to receive Mr. Ponomaryov. I should like to know whether I should read it to the House now or at another time.

Mr. Speaker

There is a time set down. I congratulate the hon. Gentleman on making his point, but I think he knows when to present a petition.
