HC Deb 18 October 1976 vol 917 c944
Mr. David Price

On a point of order. Mr. Speaker. This is a separate point in relation to the rights of Members. I draw attention to the fact that today, on a Monday, without Prime Minister's Questions intervening, we have reached only Question No. 17. There was a time when on a Monday it was reasonable to expect to reach about Question No. 50. Indeed, I have had an answer to a Question No. 62 on a Monday.

Mr. Speaker

I am deeply grateful to the hon. Gentleman. Had he been present all the way through Question Time, he would have known that I have appealed time and again to hon. Members, but we have had three and four questions in one supplementary. If I may say so, the answers have matched the length of the supplementaries.
