§ Mr. MartenOn a point of order, Mr. Speaker. You will be aware that when a meeting of the Council of Ministers has been held in Brussels, it is the accepted undertaking of the Government that a statement is made in the House. On Monday there was an important meeting of the Ministers of Finance in Brussels, but there is no statement today. I was wondering whether there was anything that you could do to encourage the Government to honour that undertaking so that we may have statements on these important matters which are in progress.
§ Mr. SpeakerThe Leader of the House and others are present and will have heard what the hon. Member has said.
