HC Deb 05 November 1976 vol 918 c1805
The Attorney-General

I beg to move Amendment No. 8, in page 88, line 18, leave out 'the Maplin Development Authority'.

The Chairman

With this, we may take Government Amendments Nos. 13 and 14.

The Attorney-General

This is a somewhat different type of amendment from those with which we have been dealing. All three amendments will eliminate from the Bill references to the Maplin Development Authority and the Maplin Development Act 1973. It is now clear, although it was not when the Bill was introduced, that the Maplin Development Authority (Dissolution) Act, which- [...]eceived the Royal Assent on 26th October and provides for the dissolution of the Maplin Development Authority, will take effect before this Bill achieves the Royal Assent.

Amendment agreed to.

Clause 112, as amended, ordered to stand part of the Bill.

Clauses 113 to 118 ordered to stand part of the Bill.
