Member for Birmingham, Selly Oak (Mr. Litterick) of his wish to raise, under Standing Order No. 9, the question of the published import and balance of trade figures. The hon. Gentleman is unable to do so because the Standing Order clearly provides that:
A Member intending to propose to move the adjournment of the House under the provisions of this order shall give notice to Mr. Speaker by twelve o'clock, if the urgency of the matter is known at that hour.Therefore, I cannot call the hon. Gentleman.
