Lords amendment: No. 7, in page 23, line 24, at end insert: (3A) At the end of section 1(1) (constitution and general functions of the Commission), there shall be added the words 'and the Crofting Reforms (Scotland) Act 1976'.

I beg to move, That this House doth agree with tthe Lords in the said amendment.

I believe that it will be convenient to take at the same time Lords Amendments Nos. 8, 9 and 10.

These are drafting amendments which follow from a helpful suggestion made by the Opposition. They make it clear that the Commission's duty to make an annual report should extend to its functions under the Bill.
