No decisions on future Government policy towards Luton Airport will be taken in advance of these consultations.
§ Mr. MadelHow many passengers per year does the hon. Gentleman think it sensible for Luton Airport to be expected to take by the 1980s? Should there be scheduled services in addition to charter services?
§ Mr. DavisOnce again, and like other hon. Members, the hon. Gentleman is asking me to make a prejudgment about the very purpose of the consultations. I hope that all those with interests in the development of Luton Airport will ensure that their voices are heard in the process 28 of consultation upon which we have embarked.
