Ordered, That a Select Committee be appointed to report, by 15th April, 1976, on the situation in the Republic of Cyprus with particular reference to the current position of United Kingdom residents there.

Ordered, That the Committee do consist of Six Members.

Ordered, That Mr. Arthur Bottomley, Mr. Bryant Godman Irvine, Mrs. Lena Jeger, Mr. Christopher Price, Mr. William Rees-Davies and Mr. Hugh Rossi be members of the Committee.

Ordered, That the Committee have power to sit notwithstanding any Adjournment of the House; and to report from time to time. That Two be the Quorum of the Committee.

Ordered, That the Committee have power to send for persons, papers and records.

Ordered, That the Committee have power to adjourn from place to place within the United Kingdom.

Ordered, That the Minutes of the Evidence taken before the Select Committee on Cyprus in the last Session of Parliament, together with Memoranda laid before them, be referred to the Committee.—[Mr. Walter Harrison.]
