Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to provide for the relief of flooding in part of the catchment area of the River Medway, to authorise the Southern Water Authority to construct works and to acquire lands, it is expedient to authorise any increase in the sums payable out of moneys provided by Parliament under Section 55 of the Land Drainage Act 1930 and Section 38 of Land Drainage Act 1961 and Section 37 of the Agriculture (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1968.—[Mr. Robert Sheldon.]
