Queen's Recommendation having been signified


That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to enable the United Kingdom to accede to the Agreement on the International Carriage of Perishable Foodstuffs and on the Special Equipment to be Used for such Carriage (ATP); and for purposes connected therewith, it is expedient to authorise—

(1) the payment out of money provided by Parliament of—

  1. (a) any expenses of the Secretary of State under that Act,
  2. 768
  3. (b) such remuneration and such salaries or allowances to certifying officers and examiners as the Secretary of State may, with the consent of the Minister for the Civil Service, determine,
  4. (c) any sums required by the Secretary of State for making loans under section 5 of that Act, and

(2) the payment of any sums into the Consolidated Fund.—[Dr. Gilbert.]
