§ Dr. OwenI beg to move Amendment No. 81, in page 63, line 9, at end insert—
'"area", in relation to a magistrates' court, means the commission area (within the meaning of section 1 of the Administration of Justice Act 1973) for which the court is appointed;'.The purpose of the amendment is to remove ambiguity as to the meaning of the term "area" in relation to a magistrates' court.
