§ Queen's recommendation having been signified—
Resolved,That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to enable local authorities and certain other authorities to acquire, manage and deal with land suitable for development, to make other provision for and in connection with the public ownership of land, and to amend planning law and the rules for assessing the value of land where compensation is payable, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of grants made by the Secretary of State to bodies other than authorities who acquire interests in land from the Crown.—[Mr. Oakes.]
