HC Deb 04 November 1975 vol 899 cc294-5
Mr. Speaker

We now come to the two motions on social security in the name of the right hon. Lady the Secretary of State for Social Services. I understand that it has been agreed that they should be taken formally so that we can come to the debate, on the Adjournment, when the House can have a wide debate on the position of the self-employed.

Resolved, That the Social Security (Contributions, Re-Rating) Order 1975, a draft of which was laid before this House on 23rd October, be approved.—[Mr. O'Malley.]

Resolved, That the Social Security (Contributions) (Consequential Amendments) Regulations 1975, a draft of which was laid before this House on 7th August, be aproved.—[Mr. O'Malley.]
