Queen's recommendation having been signified—
§
Resolved,
That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to provide for relating the rates of social security retirement pensions and certain other benefits to the earnings on which contributions have been paid and to make other amendments in the law relating to social security and to occupational pensions. it is expedient to authorise—
- (1) the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of—
- (a) any administrative expenses of the Secretary of State or any other government department under that Act;
- (b) any increase attributable to that Act in the sums falling to be paid out of moneys so provided under any other Act;
- (c) any sums required by the Secretary of State for making payments to the chairman and members of the Reserve Pension Board in consequence of its abolition;
- (2) payments into the Consolidated Fund. —[Mr. O'Malley.]
