Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to limit liability for certatin remuneration; to enable certain provisions of Part II of the Counter-Inflation Act 1973 to be extended and to amend section 2 of that Act; to enable housing subsidy to be increased and to provide for a new grant to local authorities in Scotland, it is expedient to authorize—

  1. (a) the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of a new grant to local authorities in Scotland for the year 1976–77; and
  2. (b) any increase attributable to that Act in the sums payable out of moneys provided by Parliament under any other Act.—[Miss Jackson.]
