Lords amendment: No. 24, in page 34, line 22, leave out "length of" and insert "lengths of relevant".

These Government amendments were introduced to make it clear that for the purposes of the requirement for an employer not to discriminate between different earnings on any grounds other than length of service in relation to electing for a contracting-out certificate, "certificates" means contracting-out certificates.
