Sir Anthony Meyer, supported by Mr. Cranley Onslow, Mr. Nicholas Edwards, and Mr. Wyn Roberts, presented a Bill to enable electors who are away on holiday at the time of a Parliamentary election to vote by post or by proxy; to amend the law about the registration of members of the forces and about the correction of the register of electors; and for related purposes: And the same was read the First time; and ordered to be read a Second time upon Friday, 2nd May and to be printed [Bill 29].
