Queen's recommendation having been signified—

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of this Session to provide for the acquisition by the Secretary of State of land in Scotland for purposes relating to exploration for and exploitation of offshore petroleum, to enable the Secretary of State to carry out works and facilitate operations for those purposes, to regulate operations for those purpose in designated sea areas, and to provide for the reinstatement of land used for those purposes, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of—

  1. (1) any expenses incurred by the Secretary of State in consequence of any provision of the said Act;
  2. (2) any increase attributable to the said Act in the sums payable out of money so provided under any ohter enactment.—[Mr. Millan.]
