Queen's Recommendation having been signified.

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to remove the limits imposed by the National Theatre Act 1949 on the contributions which may be made under that Act towards the cost of erecting and equipping a national theatre, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of money provided by Parliament of any increase attributable to the said Act of the present Session in the contributions, towards the cost of erecting and equipping a national theatre, made under the said Act of 1949 out of money so provided.—[Mr. Walter Harrison.]
