Resolved,
That a further Supplementary sum, not exceeding £501,887,000, be granted to Her Majesty out of the Consolidated Fund, to defray the charges which will come in course of payment during the year ending on 31st March 1974 for expenditure on Civil and Defence Services as set out in House of Commons Papers Nos. 3, 4, 5, 6 and 30.
§ Bill ordered to be brought in upon the foregoing Resolutions relating to Defence Estimate 1974–75 (Vote on Account) and Civil and Defence Estimates, Supplementary Estimates, 1973–74 by the Chairman of Ways and Means, 858 the Chancellor of the Exchequer, the Paymaster-General, Mr. Joel Barnett and Dr. John Gilbert.
