§ Mr. SpeakerFor the debate on Wednesday 20th March on the Second Reading of the Consolidated Fund Bill, hon. Members may hand in to my office by 9.30 on the morning of Tuesday 19th March their names and the topics which they wish to raise. The ballot will be carried out as on the last occasion. An hon. Member may hand in only his own name and one topic.
364 The Consolidated Fund Bill will cover certain Supplementary Estimates for the current financial year, as set out in House of Commons Papers Nos. 3, 5 and 30, and certain defence Supplementary Estimates as set out in House of Commons Papers Nos. 4 and 6. These Estimates have all been published this afternoon. It will be in order on the Second Reading of the Bill to raise topics falling within the ambit of the expenditure proposed in these papers.
I shall put out the result of the ballot later on Tuesday 19th March.
