Mr. Robin Maxwell-Hyslop supported by Mr. Robert Cooke, Mr. W. Benyon, and Miss Janet Fookes, presented a Bill to provide that, where there is in existence a contract of insurance which enables one spouse to drive for pleasure, social or domestic purposes a vehicle or vehicles which the said policy covers for the benefit of the other spouse with whom the contract of insurance was made, the contract of insurance shall continue until its normal date of expiry, or for fourteen days, whichever shall be the longer, on the death of the spouse who entered into the contract of insurance without additional premium payment: and the same was read the First time; and ordered to be read a Second time tomorrow; and to be printed.
