The Financial Secretary to the Treasury (Mr. Terence Higgins)

I beg to move, That leave be given to bring in a Bill to appropriate the supplies granted in this Session of Parliament; that, notwithstanding the practice of the House relating to the interval between various stages of Bills of aids and supplies, more than one stage of any Bill brought in pursuant to this order may be proceeded with at this day's Sitting; and that so soon as any such Bill has been read a Second time, the House will immediately resolve itself into a Committee on the Bill.
