Queen's Recommendation having been signified

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to make further provision for securing the health, safety and welfare of persons at work, for protecting others against risks to health or safety in connection with the activities of persons at work, for controlling the keeping and use and preventing the unlawful acquisition, possession and use of dangerous substances, and for controlling certain emissions into the atmosphere, to make further provision with respect to the employment medical advisory service, and to amend the law relating to building regulations and the Building (Scotland) Act 1959, it is expedient to authorize—

(1) the payment out of money provided by Parliament of—

  1. (a) any expenses incurred by a Minister of the Crown or government department for the purposes of the said Act of the present Session; and
  2. (b) any increase attributable to the provisions of that Act in the sums payable under any other Act out of money so provided:

(2) the payment into the Consolidated Fund of any sums received by a Minister of the Crown or government department by virtue of the said Act of the present Session. —[Mr. Harold Walker.]
