a chairman of a community council".
§ Mr. YoungerThese amendments are designed to fulfil undertakings which Ministers gave on Report in this House to consider further the classes of persons sponsoring appeals which might be 885 assisted by a local authority under the powers of Clause 83. The lord provosts of the city districts will be effectively covered by the reference to
chairman of a district counciland it is accepted that local authorities' powers should be extended to enable them to contribute to appeals sponsored by a community council chairman.
