I beg to move. That this House doth agree with the Lords in the said amendment.
The Government agree that the change of a local authority's name is a sufficiently important matter to justify retaining the requirement to obtain the Secretary of State's approval beyond the initial 877 five-year period provided for in the Bill. The argument was presented forcibly in another place and we are happy to accept the amendment.
