Lords Amendment disagreed to: No. 9, in page 32, leave out lines 6 to 23 and insert:
(11) In accordance with such directions as the Secretary of State may give, the regional councils of Greater Glasgow, Lanarkshire. Argyll and Clyde and Ayrshire and Arran, shall combine or have joint consultations in regard to the discharge of any of their functions.
