§ Mr. SpeakerOn 16th March I announced to the House the names of the right hon. and hon. Members who have been good enough to accept my invitation to serve on my Conference on Electoral Law. I have now appointed the hon. Member for Preston, South (Mr. Green) to serve in the place of the hon. Member for Mid-Bedfordshire (Mr. Hastings), and the hon. Member for Twickenham (Mr. Jessel) to serve in the place of the hon. Member for Birmingham, Selly Oak (Mr. Gurden).
