HC Deb 28 June 1973 vol 858 c1872

Question proposed, That the clause stand part of the Bill.

Mr. Deakins

I have one simple question relating to Clause 2. Since we have already indicated our provisional acceptance of the agreement through the Bill, when are we likely to have an order made by the Secretary of State? Even if our provisional acceptance remains provisional, shall we nevertheless have an order from the Secretary of State or will the making of an order depend upon our provisional acceptance becoming a final acceptance?

Mrs. Fenner

We shall have an order.

Question put and agreed to.

Clause 2 ordered to stand part of the Bill.

Bill reported, without amendment.

Motion made, and Question, That the Bill be now read the Third time, put forthwith pursuant to Standing Order No. 56 (Third Reading) and agreed to.

Bill accordingly read the Third time and passed.
