asked the Minister of State for Defence whether he will strengthen the air defence system of Gibraltar.

Do the Government assess the air defence needs of Gibraltar on the basis that the current disgraceful blockade is likely to continue, or that it is likely to come to an end in the foreseeable future?

§ Mr. Kershaw
We take the view that the air defence arrangements we have for Gibraltar are satisfactory.
