§ Mr. SillarsIs the Minister aware that my constituents will find that a rather amazing statement? Is he further aware that the Doon Valley mining area sustained a serious job loss last year and the future is not bright? Does he realise that the people in my constituency are becoming increasingly impatient at the Government's failure to find a tenant for this advance factory? When can we expect better results from Government efforts?
§ Mr. EmeryI can assure the hon. Gentleman that the Government are not complacent about this and are doing everything they can to obtain a tenant as soon as possible. We want to see the factory let just as much as the hon. Gentleman does. We want to see it providing jobs for his constituents. I would like his constituents to realise that the Department and the Government generally are just as interested in this as they are.
