Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to confer a new right to compensation for depreciation of the value of interests in land caused by the use of highways, aerodromes and other public works; to confer powers for mitigating the injurious effect of such works on their surroundings; and for other purposes, it is expedient to authorise—

  1. (1) the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of any expenses incurred under that Act by any government department;
  2. (2) any increase attributable to that Act in the sums payable out of such moneys under any other Act;
  3. (3) any increase attributable to that Act in the sums which under any other Act are payable into the Consolidated Fund.—[Mr. Higgins.]
