§ Mr. GoldingIs the Minister aware that if the financial targets are retained tariffs will have to rise? Will he tell us quickly whether those targets are to be 983 retained at their present levels, or whether the charges are to be increased?
§ Sir J. EdenAs the hon. Gentleman will recognise, we are coming towards the end of the five-year period for which these targets were initially set. I am, therefore, having to review all these before March, 1973, and I shall be taking account of the current anti-inflationary measures which have recently been announced.
