A Great Britain—China Committee has recently been established to promote contacts of all kinds between Britain and China. The President is Mr. Malcolm MacDonald, the Vice-President Lord Trevelyan and the Chairman Sir Harold Thompson; committee members include the right hon. Gentlemen the Members for Ashford (Mr. Deedes), Fulham (Mr. Michael Stewart) and Devon, North (Mr. Thorpe), and Sir John Keswick.
