The provision of aerodrome facilities for this area is already being considered by the local authorities concerned in the South Hampshire Plan Advisory Committee, and the Department is advising the Committee on civil aviation matters.
§ Mr. JuddIn view of the rapid expansion of population and the general development of this area, has not the time come for a co-ordinated approach, and will the Government take the initiative to bring this about?
§ Mr. GrantIf the hon. Gentleman is referring to a co-ordinated approach in his area, I believe that this is now taking place. If he is referring to a national co-ordinated approach, the Civil Aviation Authority, which comes into operation at the end of this month, will undoubtedly be considering this issue.
