As you will have observed, Mr. Speaker, from the Questions on the Order Paper and the answers, and those on previous occasions, appertaining to Scotland, there have been a number of questions on the reorganisation of local government. There is a great deal of expense involved in this. I wonder whether there is any way in which you could use your good influences to see that a decision by this Parliament is taken on this subject before any more expense is incurred.
