Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Resolved, That, for the purpose of any Act of the present Session to enable the Secretary of State to develop, maintain and manage, or authorise other persons so to do, harbours in Scotland made or maintained by him for any purpose; and for purposes connected with the matters aforesaid, it is expedient to authorise—

  1. (1) the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of—
    1. (a) any expenditure incurred by the Secretary of State in developing, maintaining or managing such harbours as afore said or in connection therewith;
    2. (b) any administrative expenses incurred by the Secretary of State under the said Act;
    3. (c) any increases attributable to the said Act in the sums payable out of moneys provided by Parliament under any other Act;
  2. (2) the payment into the Consolidated Fund of any sums falling to be so paid in consequence of any of the provisions of the said Act of this Session, or in con sequence of the amendment of any statutory provision by an order made thereunder.—[Mr. Buchanan-Smith.]
