§ Mr. ChapmanAs there is less than nine months to go before the implementation of the new unified system—and perhaps my hon. Friend will confirm that it is coming in in April, 1973—may I ask whether he intends to give the widest possible publicity to what is, after all, a radical new system of assessing taxation well before it comes into force?
§ Mr. NottA leaflet will be sent out with the coding notices, and in the autumn the Revenue will publish a pamphlet explaining the new system in simple terms. Other Revenue publications will naturally be altered as necessary to meet the new system. It will be coming in on the date already predicted.
