Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to make further provision for the purpose of making legal advice and assistance more readily available, including the employment of solicitors by the Law Society or the Law Society of Scotland for that purpose and for the purpose of giving legal aid, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of any increase attributable to that Act in the sums so payable under the Legal Aid and Advice Act 1949 or the Legal Aid (Scotland) Act 1967.—[The Solicitor-General.]
