§ Mr. MonroI certainly hope so. My right hon. Friend and I are determined that while we want to see an increase in outdoor activities at school, we do not want any unnecessary loss of life. Besides this circular, at my request the three sports councils, with the co-operation of my hon. Friend who has responsibility for sport in England, and the Welsh Office, will co-operate in a publicity campaign this autumn indicating the dangers of mountaineering.
