HC Deb 21 October 1971 vol 823 cc886-7
27. Mr. Longden

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many immigrants from India, Pakistan, and the West Indies, respectively, were admitted to Great Britain in each of the years since 1960, listing dependants separately.

The Minister of State, Home Office (Mr. Richard Sharpies)

Since the Answer consists of a large number of figures I will, with permission, circulate it in the OFFICIAL REPORT.

Mr. Longden

I thank my hon. Friend for the trouble taken in getting out the figures. Can he say whether the figures are going up or down?
