§ Mr. Secretary Campbell, supported by Mr. George Younger, and Mr. Patrick Jenkin presented a Bill to introduce a new system of housing subsidy for housing authorities; to provide for rent rebate and rent allowance schemes administered by housing authorities; to make provision as to the housing accounts of local authorities; to amend the law about rents of houses and in particular those subject to the Rent (Scotland) Act 1971 or provided by housing authorities; and to make other provision as to housing finance; and the same was read the First time; and ordered to be read a Second time tomorrow and to be printed.
