Queen's Recommendation having been signified—

Resolved, That, for the purposes of any Act of the present Session to preclude, subject to certain exceptions, the making of grants under Part I of the Industrial Development Act 1966 in respect of expenditure incurred on or after 27th October, 1970, and to make further provision with respect to grants under section 3 of the Local Employment Act, 1960, it is expedient to authorise the payment out of moneys provided by Parliament of any increase attributable to the said Act of the present Session in the sums payable out of moneys so provided under the said Act of 1960.—[Mr. Patrick Jenkin.]
