Amendment proposed: No. 74, in page 62, line 30, at end insert—

(3) In this section 'contract'—

  1. (a) does not include a collective agreement or any part of a collective agreement, and does not include any provisions having effect as a contract by virtue of an order under section 39 of this Act, but
  2. (b) notwithstanding anything in the preceding paragraph, includes so much of any 427 contract of employment as is implied or incorporated in that contract by reference to a collective agreement or by reference to any provisions having effect as mentioned in the preceding paragraph.—[The Solicitor-General.]
