§ Mr. Michael HeseltineI beg to move Amendment No. 34, in page 31, line 7, 493 leave out 'a court of quarter sessions' and insert 'the Crown Court'.
§ Mr. Deputy SpeakerWith this Amendment we can also discuss Amendment No. 35.
§ Mr. HeseltineThese Amendments simply anticipate the passing of the Courts Bill now before Parliament. They replace the wording in that Bill which refers to a court of quarter sessions with the new concept as contained in the Courts Bill of a Crown court. Amendment 35 merely deals with the intervening situation between the present day and the coming into being of the Courts Bill.
§ Amendment agreed to.
