HC Deb 09 March 1971 vol 813 c253
Dame Irene Ward

On a point of order. Could I ask you, Mr. Speaker, whether it would be possible when the Prime Minister is attacked by the Opposition about going to the North of England to remember that on this kind of occasion I would enjoy being called—[Interruption.]

Mr. Speaker

Order. I want to hear what the hon. Lady has to say.

Dame Irene Ward

Could I just add [HON. MEMBERS: "No."]—that, in common justice to the North of England, it would be rather odd when my right hon. Friend is going to visit there if no one from his side of the House said how delighted they would be to see him?
